Caroline’s Kitchen prepares breakfasts your taste buds will celebrate.  Start with a fresh personally brewed cup of the coffee of your choice.  Then enjoy a delicious entrée either in the historic dining room, morning room or out on one of the terraces overlooking Duncraig’s gardens.  The typical morning menu features your choice of juices, an entree such as an Alaskan Omelet, Lobster Benedict, a Lemon Curd Belgian Waffle, Basil and Cheese Strata, a Baked Raspberry Pancake or the Chef’s Special Quiche.  And, there’s always something on the side, like Caroline’s homemade breads or biscuits with gravy, fresh fruit compote and traditional breakfast meats.  For those who prefer something on the lighter side yogurts, cereals, bagels and English muffins are always on hand.

In the afternoon, soon after check-in, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks are served.  Homemade cookies are set out each evening and both hot and cold beverages are available in the Butler’s Pantry 24/7.

There is a wide selection of restaurants in the local area, including Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Aberdeen, for lunch and evening dining.
